Tank vent activated carbon filter & HEPA filter

Many industrial enterprises produce chemical and biological products requiring safekeeping. Depending on the odor range of the stored substance, the spread of odors and noxious gases can be hazardous to both people and the equipment in the vicinity of such storage areas. For this purpose, Moremex has developed activated carbon VOC abatement filters/Odor filters to prevent the spread of hazardous or toxic fumes from pollutants and odors to escape into the environment due to changes in volume or temperature.

Body material – stainless steel or painted steel, depending on customer requirements.

The design was made taking into account the data sheet of the tank and capacity of the filter. Various options for connecting to the tank are possible (top, side, ground).

It is very important in the design process of odor filters that the accurate amount of air entering and leaving the storage tank is known and can be taken into account.

A pressure/vacuum relief valve controlling overpressure and negative pressure of the tank can be added in parallel with the system allowing the reservoir to be protected from mechanical damage.

Another alternative for activated carbon filters is a HEPA filter. HEPA filters for tanks effectively remove hard particles such as sand and dust.
